Dinkee (Linkee For Kids) – General Knowledge Quiz Game: A Kid’s Review
‘Dinkee’ is a fun general knowledge quiz game aimed at kids aged 8 and over. It’s based on a grown-up’s version called ‘Linkee’ but with easier questions aimed at younger people.
The aim is to win enough cards to spell ‘DINKEE’. Each card has 4 questions on it and the answers are all linked in some way – to win the card, you have to guess the link. So, if the answers were ‘tiger’, ‘leopard’, ‘lion’ and ‘cheetah’ then the link could be ‘big cats’.
It’s quite easy to get used to it but some of the questions were quite hard. Although I love facts so even when I couldn’t answer the questions it meant I learnt some brilliant new facts!
It’s easy to learn and it’s fun to play so this gets a thumbs up from me!
TIP: If some of your younger players are struggling then why not say the answers out loud for everyone instead of writing them down? This way, younger players can guess the link even if they don’t know the answers to the questions themselves.
