PLAY it! Manchester 2016 – Back For Seconds. Retro-to-Modern Gaming Expo; a Video Review

Posted in : Gaming, Reviews on by : Fat Dad

We headed back to the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester for this years’ PLAY it! Manchester Gaming Expo event. Even bigger and better than last year and it runs from 25th March to 17th April.

This is my video review highlighting just a small selection of the consoles and games available including the Oculus Rift, XBox One, Playstations, Minecraft as well as classic games from the 70’s and 80’s through to the modern day.

One thing we like about the event is that they don’t over-sell it. So even when it’s busy there are still easily enough games for everyone to play. If you want to play on PC Minecraft you need to request a slot and there are also tournaments available throughout the day.

More details on the event can be found at http://msimanchester.org.uk/en/whats-on/activity/play-it

Many thanks to the Museum of Science and Industry for kindly providing us access for the video review.
