FabLab Hairlights Kit – A Young Girl’s Hands-On Review
In this video Phoebe reviews the Fab Lab Hairlights from Interplay. The colours are quite easy to apply but younger children may need some help from an adult.
Some of the colours aren’t very vivid (the blue being one example) but those that are, such as the red, look great on lighter hair. The colours aren’t too over the top and blend in quite well to the natural hair colour.
Even though the instructions say that the colour washes out with normal shampoo, we found that it wasn’t needed – after around 3 or 4 hours the colours had faded out anyway (probably due to Phoebe fiddling with her hair…).
Still, with a retail price of £9.99 for 6 colours, 2 good quality clips and a pair of gloves, the set is quite good value for money and you’ll get a lot of use out of each colour. Perfect for the Summer Holidays!
